I've tried almost every craft at least once: knitting, sewing,
home renovation, upholstery, picture-framing, chair-weaving...the
list goes on. But glassmaking is particularly fascinating to

My character Em Dowell is both an artist and a businesswoman, managing her own shop in the Factory District in downtown Tucson, Arizona. She finds it hard enough to juggle earning a living and making glass, even before she finds a body in her studio.
